FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE “MOM’S THE WORD,” A CUTTING-EDGE NEW PARENTING TALK SHOW DEBUTS ON CASTLEROCK RADIO Castle Rock, Colorado – January XXX, 2009 – “Mom’s The Word,” a fun, intelligent, contemporary talk show which covers today’s pressing and important parenting issues, makes its debut on KLZ 560 AM in Denver, Colorado on February 9, 2009. The show which has broadcast live on Castle Rock Radio (www.castlerockradio.com) since 2007, has been widely praised for filling a much needed void. Hosts and moms Maura Ridder, Maureen Brown, together with Stay-at-Work Professional Correspondent D Berger, fill a much needed void by giving parents a place to go to get advice for kids of all ages. The show seeks to educate people on parenting in a fun, yet intelligent environment. Topics include schooling, under-scheduling v. over-scheduling extracurricular activities, reading, playing, sports, arts, music vacations, family traditions, bullying, hobbies, discipline, behavior and development, arguments, depression and suicide, ADHD and other disorders, the family home, traditions, and hundreds of other topics. It also focuses on moms as women. The hosts spend time focusing on the woman in every mom, and make no bones about the fact that one should not sacrifice their happiness for motherhood. The hosts have a lot of fun talking among themselves and with their guests. They aim to arm parents with the intelligent and much-longed for advice they need to raise a “better generation” of children, while staying happy and fulfilled in the process.
